Well, there must be an echo, 'cause there's a whole caveful of tee-hee's
going
on here!
You two are SO not alone. 108 degrees here again today, so the last thing on
my
mind is the eyebrows on my face. A bra? I have two matching chronic
itchy-scratchy spots - in constant need of attention - on the tops of my
shoulders from years of straps. And pantyhose became a thing of my past the
morning I got a pair almost all the way on and then discovered a spider in one
toe. Yuck. It was me or him.
On the serious side (if pantyhose have a serious side)...a couple of thoughts.
I've seen them used (by men, yet) for all kinds of things, even
straining/draining homemade cheese, etc., but it strikes me that they might
be an
excellent component if anyone's doing old-fashioned braided rugs. Did I see
this
done somewhere or? Seems they'd be pretty good in the tensile strength
department, despite their 'runability', and would dry pretty darned fast. A
viable idea?
About the jeans/grocery bags - I guess we've all seen purses/handbags made
from
the tops of old jeans. I even remember having one once. I guess if the jeans
were
cut just right, the legs could be formed into a flat bottom, and there's be
the
advantage of having built-in places for wallet, cellphone, coupons, etc.?
Another
posting just came in from (from? I can;t switch back and forth - bless AOL!)
whose daughter had concocted a really clever design that folds flat - neat!
