You can't talk about after '45 when it was all in progress before '45. They already had all the components, they simply hadn't put them together.
Bill: Everyone knows how to make nuclear weapons. Knowledge isn't bad. It's the actual missiles in silos that threaten us (coupled with a regime whose stated goal was the liberation of the masses from the capitalist oppressors), and they were still years from actually launching anything seriously threatening.
So, with your self-declared "inhumane" way of dealing with what you consider to be a problem, can you tell me what seperates you from the folks you declare "thugs?"I didn't say it _would_ be inhumane, only that it sounded that way. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Many more people died as a result of the Soviets' suppression of rebellions in Europe, the Vietnam War, the occupation of Tibet, and all the other atrocities that followed as a consequence of Truman's dovish back-turning in '45.
And, again, precisely and with adult language, if possible, how would you have kept all these countries from advancing their scientific knowledge? Eugenics perhaps? A holocaust of a different type? Kill all the scientific minds after they have been identified in all those countries? Screen all the children as they advance to an age where they might show some interest in science? Bomb the shit out of any country who even thinks about figuring out how to build a weapon?Once again, you just can't connect the dots, unless it's about whom the CEO of ENRON had lunch with.
France is loaded with nuclear weapons, and they weren't too friendly to the English only a century or so ago. But we don't see any of their government representatives shouting "death to America". The same is true of India. There appears to be a responsible regime there, so we tolerate their weapons.
Red, white and blue shirts goose stepping all over the world to control those nasty ol' folks who have an IQ higher than 70?
And, can you perhaps tell us where your U.S. supremist ideas came from? The U.S. shall rule the world because we are the choosen people? Do you perhaps wear a funny little mustache?
Oh, it's "adult" to play the race card over and over and over and over... Each of your posts is just a wider window into the sick, hateful interior of your brain.
As far as "adult" goes, you simply can't stand anyone else's opinion. Clearly we're in the realm of opinion now, and yours is the only correct one. No one else ever carries it to this level, and my feeling is that it really serves to brand you for what you are.
