I would probably not do much different than what you are doing, except I
would leave it alone longer as long as it was clean (rebandage once a day,
but no more than twice unless I felt some advantage to it for that
particular thing). It is my experience burns often ooze (sort of, sometimes
crystalline things form on them) even until they completely heal.

James once had a *very* bad burn over one entire hand. I'm sure if we had
taken him for "medical" care he would have scarred and perhaps had limited
motion. Of course, we were vigilant about looking for any sign of infection
and all that jazz. But that burn left him with no sign it ever existed.

One thing that is helpful for burns healing well (after they have started
healing, generally, and when there seems no danger of infection) (and which hopefully yours is since it has been a few days since you first wrote about it) is vitamin
E oil. I keep the capsules onhand and puncture one and put on any burn.
Also aloe of course, fresh from the plant. Those things help them heal
without scars.
