I received a terrible 3rd ? degree burn on the top of my right foot from some
hot, boiling water. It looks real bad.
We've been using "Bactine" liquid on it for disinfection and "Neosporin"
cream, with a bandage covering.
It looks like, after 3 days, that it's trying to "scab-over", but it's still
"wet" with body-fluids. About 2 1/2 round inches of skin is burned off.
People have been saying to use H202 (hyrdogen peroxide) on it and
Epsom-salts, and salt-water baths after it scabs.
Any "pro" suggestions out there from the old Homesteads?
Pray for me that I don't loose my foot to gangrene.

Wendy, even when the Law was handed down at Mt. Sinai, there were people in
the crowd who were not descendants of Abraham. No Jewish tradition or law
says only Abram's descendants can be Jewish. In fact, Torah has many
stipulations about how to treat the non-Jew and conversions happen all the
time. The Jews teach that only the Jews, and converted people, are required
to adhere to the 613 laws of Torah.
This is true. Anyone can be a convert. I am not Jewish, but it was
explained to me that although anyone may convert and practice the Jewish
faith, many feel that it is only the descendants of Abraham that can claim
the "chosen" status. Converts carry some kind of "second class" status.
There was even some disagreement among the apostils concerning who must
follow the laws of the Old Testament. Peter taught that all, Jews and
Christians alike, were to follow the old laws. Paul taught that only the
Jews were required to adhere. He even disagreed on the need to circumcise
those who were not born Jewish.
After much study, I've come to believe that the reason the man called by
Christians "Jesus" was killed was probably because of Temple politics and
his pronunciation of the Sacred Name.
Jesus was killed to keep the peace. He had committed no secular crimes,
which is why he was bounced around to the various jurisdictions. He had only
offended the Jewish Church.
Please explain "pronunciation of the Sacred Name".
But Judaism, especially as practiced in the US of A, and Christianity are
nowhere near the same religion.
Religious practices are very different even among the many Christian sects.
Expression of doctrine usually deviates from written scripture. It seems
that people must add their own do's and don'ts. But they all pray to the
same God.
