The PC is unable to boot DOS. Unfortunately. It's a Compaq Presario M2207AP.
I have mounted the DOS fs.img as a loop device and I am editing the install-to-hd script to work in my setup (removing the check to see if folder is empty) and chroot'ed into the image to run it.
Hopefully that will work!

unable to boot DOS? Ever? Or, are you saying you
have installed BL3 to HD and now DOS won't boot?
As far as I know, the only thing in the BL3 install
that would cause DOS to fail would be using fdisk
and/or mke2fs to overwrite the partition where DOS
resides. Obviously, that is a mistake.
Cheers,
Steven
