As I recall, you said to put the new fs_img in C:\baslin as fs.img
I just did that, and then booted.
e2fsck /dev/hdb2 works fine.
By the way: I'm not an advanced user like Sindi, David, et al.
Will wait a while before installing BL 3.5x to HD.
Can someone direct me to instructions on subsequently fixing it up with the
"personal touches", eg /etc/rc, additional /dev/hdx, etc
