Why would I do that? I'm running busybox ash, not bash.
And I've just spent an hour reading the manpage. It
reads /etc/profile or ~/.profile.

I'm using /etc/profile and swm, now, and the aliases
work just fine.

How about ps and free, keeping in mind that I'm running
mutt and nvi right now, as well as pppd:

David M. mentioned that there were several versions of libXext
available for BL, thereby suggesting that I might need a different
one. Could that be? I ran strings on libXext.so.6.4 and saw some
things that _could_ be relevant to this challenge. If you think
so, where would I find the other versions?
