True, it is a technical forum based around a specialised
distro, in turn based on Slackware. And I don't think Sindi was
the first to use it.

Google/linux gave quite a lot of hits on SW8.1, but a much larger number on deb, RH, and fed. Do SuSE and Caldera have acronyms?
