Opera is taking up 18.4% of 96MB when run at 1024 resolution. I will run
it at 800x600 on the laptops and use a swapfile.

It uses just as much RAM running at 640x480x15 (with Xvesa, which takes up 1.2% of memory). This is without even accessing a web page.

I don't know how it works at all in 16MB RAM (with 16MB swap space).
Maybe it uses less RAM if less is available? Why does it show up twice in 'top'. I am using 28MB RAM with Xvesa and opera running, but 25MB without - ????

Why am I running keventd ksoftirqd and kswapd and kupdated?

I should set XF86Config to 8-bit color to save RAM.

Cheers,
Steven
