Redhat 7.0 has 6240 bytes of modules but not plip or slip. Plip is loaded after parport and it has parport, so probably plip is not in the kernel.

Maybe DSL or Ubuntu are set up for file transfers and if not I will download the dosemu and freedos files with them, from the net, if I can't get Redhat working better.
