These all nominations and votes seems funny for me if we have had always only one candidate. :-)
Correct :-). But once Team Lead have been elected, they now have the legitimity to do anything they want since you agree to be lead by them.
Responsibilities of team leads should be defined on wiki.Yes.
As far as the sorcery team is concerned, leaded by Andrew, it seems (at least reading this mailing list) that he is the only active member of his team producing, releasing and testing the whole sorcery software.
As far as the ISO team is concerned, leaded by Unet, it seems that only me, BearPerson and David Kowis are the active members. So Unet is kinda inactive (except he seems to test every ISO release, especially x86-64 ... but without reporting publicly the test report).
So, those examples show that Team Lead, in practive, have various level of involvement and contribution.
BTW, how long can team lead be inactive?
And what could be considered inactive? Since most people here are contributing on their spare time, we cannot require people (Team Lead included) to be active all the time. On the other way, we cannot rely that key decisions be taken by inactive Team Lead (since they will not be taken in the appropriate time frame).
