With that in mind I will start the ball rolling by adding PI USA's name
and link to the footer information for messages sent to this list.
Their website looks better than ever and is filled with interesting and
useful resources.
Don't forget that PI owns two domains:
Permaculture Institute
http://permaculture.org
and another as yet undeveloped:
http://www.permaculture.info
Seeing all the worthwhile activity in this list over the years is more than enough reward for the efforts I have put into it. I think all of you can see the value of having this list available to you and others in the PC community. There are local and regional lists but few that serve the international community that are as effective as this one. With that in mind I would like to add another list co owner to ensure a proper lineage of folks stewarding this forum for the long term. I need someone who is recommended by PI USA, PINA, Scott, Toby, Larry S., Steve Hart, Andrew, Ben, Michael, Deston, Jason, Koreen, Jude, Darren D. and others unintentionally not listed and who submit material frequently. This list needs to continue on a permanent basis, and on ibiblio, as long as they are still willing to provide hosting (free & with superb backups, all hard to find elsewhere). The only alternative hosting site might possibly be Google as a group or a blog with downloads of existing message archives from a site. I already have that set up to mirror this list, a group and a blog containing all posts submitted. If ibiblio ever becomes unavailable then the Google group and blog can pick up the ball and keep rolling.
Please find me another list co owner asap.
Thanks,
LL
