if you know any potters or ceramic artists, they may be incredibly grateful
to get some of your ash to make ash glazes with (just be sure to tell them
what, other than wood, you put in there and what kind of wood, soft or
hardwoods). also you can use it to tan hides and it is great to keep a large
bucket in your trunk in winter. if you get stuck in snow or ice, just
sprinkle it thickly under the tire to get traction.
