Hi,
If you have asparagus (a good market crop), they have a high tolerance for salts (actually like salts) and so you could put a fair amount of your ash on the beds (or to prepare an area before planting asparagus). Good way to suppress weeds in your asparagus beds as well.

Hi, I have a good bit of fireplace ash from an indoor wood burning
fireplace and am wondering if this is a useful resource for fertilizing
or composting. Can anyone advise?
Thanks in advance,
