I have an Early Golden Persimmon that is about 25 years old that produces
persimmons every year (once I planted a male pollinator). They are better
in hot summers when they ripen before frost. I like to go out and pick up
the ripe ones and eat them off the tree. Judson L. Frisk SW Iowa Zone 5

<blush> - that shows what happens when I get in a hurry to post! Not
only do I know it...I'm a native Virginian! Sigh...I have to proof a
little more closely, eh? I'm looking at the map I created (which lists
VA) and shaking my head. <grin>

Thanks for the note though. I did have Ohio written on the list though.
