I have far more honeybees (and other bees) this Spring than the last several
years. Right now standing under my peach, plum, and redbud trees, the buzz
is almost deafening.
While I live on a large farm 15 miles WNW of Winston-Salem, I am blessed by
being surrounded by urban sprawl, which means less use of insecticides on
crops, which is good for my crops.
On the other hand, watching the urban-sprawl folks exit the stores with the
many bags and bottles of herbicides for their yards, I wonder where it all
goes.
