Exactly. I have had MacIntosh in the Hudson Valley that were
wonderful and in Central PA that were bland and tasteless. It may
have had more than heat to do with the difference in taste (Central
PA gets much more humid than the Hudson Valley for example). YMMV
(Your Mileage May Vary for those who don't read geek-speak).
