Diane,
I use Eudora, but I use the print options to change the message size myself. Under Tools, Options, Fonts, you can select the font and size for the message, the screen, or the printer. While I have my message option set at "small" I can change any incoming message I want. For instance I just went in and changed yours to "large", and the letters are huge. But I can change it right back again.
Close the message. Change the size and the type style if your like. Click OK. Open the message again and it will be in the new size and font.
In other words, the receiver of the message is in control.
Betty

I find the small font that some people use makes reading messages an effort. With reading glasses on, I can read short messages. Longer messages I copy so I can increase the size of the print. I wonder if this small font is a default in some programs.
Here are the sizes of my mail program: Eudora, starting with Small. Fortunately, I haven't been the recipient of any messages using "Smallest" or "Smaller". There are also "Bigger" and "Biggest", but I think only spammers would use them.
Small
Normal
Big
