AUGUST 21--23 NAFEX ANNUAL MEETING
I am sure Vicki will be sharing details soon, but reserve these days!
I enjoyed visiting with you in Minnesota and certainly expect to have the
same pleasure in New Hampshire. I think your idea of bringing early apples
is a splendid one. I will try to bring a few and perhaps we can compare
varieties grown in different venues. I will get some Ginger Golds from
Nelson County (the original site)....
Lucky, come to New Hampshire...I will bring MonArks....the weather, the deer
and God willing...

Perhaps a nice addition to the Nafex meeting in NH this summer would to
encourage everyone to bring along apples or sauce of their favorite summer
varieties. We could taste fresh any that are in their prime. Those that
are gone by we could taste as single variety sauce. There are some nice
local varieties here in Maine including Moses Wood and Cole's Quince.
By the way, when is the Nafex meeting?
