If you were to take mares out of MSAR when they are in season, you might just cut your resources in half.Very good points. And I'll share that the latest in the horse world to address mares in season is to have the vet insert a marble into the mare. This tricks the mare into thinking she is pregnant and she doesn't cycle. This is now being used by some mare owners on the show circuit. Anyone who rides a mare in MSAR and that mare is more blatant about her cycle (some are so quiet they make it hard to know when they are in season) might ask their vet about this option.~ ~ ~ ~ ~_______________________________________________
