Because I start my CSA in late March/early April I have been faced with
this problem. What I have done is the year before I dry lots of herbs,
beans and try to have some garlic and storage onions on hand plus I will
give eggs and any canned goods (this spring it was strawberry jam,
garlic scapes and apple sauce) if things are not growing as they should.
Dried fruit would also be appreciated by CSA members.

Beth I realize this does not help for this season but can help for next
season.
