Hi,
My name is Laura and I am a new member to this list. I heard about this list
from Johnny's Selected Seeds. I live in Connecticut and am in my fourth year
of growing perennials, mostly from plugs and a bit from propogation. I have
a 4 year old and a 18 month old, so I am a bit limited in what I can do. I
grow about 1,000 perennials which I sell to my husband's customers (he's a
landscaper) and at the Farmers' Market which I also manage. This year I am
trying
my hand at cut flowers, although with all the rain and cold my annuals aren't
growing so well. (BTW, any hints or advice on pricing cut flowers would be a
help.)
As the children get older, I hope to expand and grow more from seed and
propogation and less from plugs. I also hope to add a hoop house or a
greenhouse.
This looks like a great list to learn from and I look forward to reading more.
