Our market has an inspection team made up of board members that
visits/inspects each grower. An inventory is made of capabilities and
production.

It doesn't stop all of the accusations, but it adds assurance to the
customers that we do all we can to maintain a Class A status.

>From Willie:
Of course, you can not be certain that a seller has produced an
individual item. You CAN, of course, satisfy yourself that he has the
production capability for the item at the time of sale. That is, you
can determine that the seller is picking tomatoes out of his tomato
field at the time he is selling tomatoes.

How many markets do spot checks on growers? Are they done on all growers
or just suspected pedders? This is something our market needs to address
before it is a problem.
