Colleen, I was the Internet owner for some IBM Web sites for many years, and we provided some content in multiple languages for our worldwide customers.  Babel Fish is a very literal translation, and should not be relied on for any corporate needs.  Not sure what your translation needs are, but if this is for a corporation with worldwide business needs, translation should be done by "validators" in the countries in which business is done.

Hope this helps,

Judy Penney

This is not an answer to your question, but it may help. When I need a
phrase tranlated to/from any common language, I use Babel Fish

Hey, I've actually got an "internet/web" question. What are people
doing for multiple language support? Is there some sort of automatic
translation that works, or do you have to basically mirror the entire
site and translate everything by hand?
