Exactly, and what's really funny is if you want good help cheap teh geeks
and freaks are it. They keep up with the technology and it's their
passion. They'll work cheap if they're allowed to be themselves and show
major loyalty. I was in a meeting years ago at Interpath when my
supervisor asked me about hiring more help desk staff. I explained how if
you hired the geeks and freaks they would work fairly cheap and these were
the kids staying up all night playing with their computers. Suffice to say
she didn't listen and we got a couple of clean-cut guys who knew diddly
squat and wer rude to customers.
