Is anyone considering using the upcoming phone service from TW? Unlimited local and long distance phone service, including caller ID and call waiting for only $39.95/month if you already have their internet service. ($44.95 if you don't) This might be enough to coax me into getting a home phone again.
The only problem with having both a home phone and a cell phone is which one are your friends supposed to call? Check the home first, and then call the cell? There's gotta be an easier way to handle that.
I choose to opt for the "No phone" policy. Yes, a "phone" may exist (whatever that is), but there is no good reason to answer it. Everything worth doing in the 21st Century can be achieved via email.
No ringing involved.
No reason to turn down OutKast.
No interruptions while eating.
And so on and so on...
