I feel you miss my point. Cars help enact sprawl growth because of the way
our economic system is setup. Actions are enacted upon on a risk assesment
basis. The bottom line is, if we do something a certain way, is it more
profitable, however the means. Unfortunately that's how many of the
decisions that concern large numbers of people are made, as those are
decisions which bring in the most money.
Therefore we have development and planning which is enacted with a minimal
ammount of investment, setup so the maximum ammount of returns can be
reaped. This goes about with the ideals of what is the minimum we can
provide as far as planning and implementation that we'll still be able to
reap profit from.
I'll make sure that my cars wear jimmy caps next time. ;)
