okay okay i think that CaB is completely overblown and that ESR is
dramatically presenting the dream worlds of programmers - so check it
against your experiences. or interview major players (as i did
http://www-4.ibm.com/software/developer/library/merrier.html ). still i
think open source is a forceful and wonderful idea and even better
practice. but i think that software projects are still driven by "core
teams" as brooks said 25 years ago. i also think that ESR is a wonderful
speaker and not a terrible person.
