I know there were problems in both the 2000 and 2004 elections. For the
most part, it only involved one or two states. Let's just say fraud is
found in all of the ACORN states, and in Ohio there ends up being
additional registration fraud, and say in GA there is ballot fraud, and
in Michigan, machine rigging, as well as small number voter fraud in
many other states, etc. etc....So Obama is elected by a landslide, say
80/20..
No one does anything at first. Lots of scandal and no action. There is
a lot of apathy, people take the well, we will give him a shot at it,
attitude.
Then in year two or three of his presidency, something happens and his
approval rating drops as low as Bush's. People get fed up and want him
gone, they call for impeachment. Congress, being Democratic like Obama,
wouldn't impeach him, would they? No checks?
Clinton was impeached by a Republican congress...he still had a high
favorability polls despite that.
Bush had low polls numbers, possibly/probably got into office
fraudulently-either way, close to a majority of voters that put him in
office have now done a 180 degree about face and hate the guy, and had a
Republican Congress for 6 of his 8 years until the tide turned and a
check was provided to balance, that being Democratic control and
Democratic push for Mr. Change.

Is there any protocol for removing a president/leader in the event that
Congress refuses to impeach him, should the populace feel the need to do so?

What other checks are there to prevent someone from hijacking the
election, the Congress, and the country? Could it be just that easy to
become a dictator?

You only need to look at the 2000 election to answer that question yourself, I think. Apathy and the old "possession is 9/10ths" answers
that question, right along with buying judges. On Oct 30, 2008, at

A question for those who have studied political science... What
happens if a president is elected, and after the inauguration, there is found to be widespread voter fraud proven in multiple
