Bev, I really think you are worrying about the wrong thing, there. I think
that he will be just as likely , maybe more likely, to use military power,
than McCain.

And if he does, and if he actually follows the "powell Doctrine"
(overwhelminmg force until they wet their pants in fright), he'll do fine,
relative to what any other president would do.

I don't think we should help Israel fight a pre-emotive war against Iran, but
I believe Obama would do so, just as McCain would. I don'y think we should
spill blood and treasure on anything that is not obviously in our national
interest.

We will fight for people with whom with have economic interests that aren't
necessarily in our national interest. It's all screwed up, but Obama will
handle it about the same as anyone else. I 'do' think, in tthe event of our
next military adventure, McCain would handle things better, but not that
Obama would be incompetent.

This is just all my opinion; I am often wrong ....bobford
