James, I used to have some of these numbers, but lost them in the last crash. I'll dig up as much as I can when I get the time. I'm sure I can get my hands on better info now anyhow. OK?
Tom, there is some merit to what you say here. The big oil companies getting in to RE is, the way I see it, bad news. I think the current purpose is to gather more disinformation, not to find an alternative. I really wish I had the time to discuss this right now, but I don't. I'm currently working 12hr shifts on my "day's off" lol. I'll get more info on this when I can breath.
I do believe there is a why out of this mess.
Wendy
. I think this is just one more piece of bs to
try to turn the people away form alternative energies.
Wendy, could you put some metrics to all those claims and rebuttals?
I've heard the old 'oil companies are spreading disinformation to squelch
alternate energy' from the get go. But I never hear any numbers put to the
remonstration..
For example, a wind generator of what size, with what expected duty cycle,
will generate what amount of electricity which will convert to how much hydrogen
which will power what sized vehicle for how many miles?
I keep up with the the energy debates, but there is so much information and
disinformation out there that some time back I found I had to limit myself to
only those arguments that came with the numbers and the math.\\
James
