Actually, I have spent many full and consecutive years here.

church people you know aren't residents of your county.

No, I am referring to natives.

Most churches have less than 100 members, so it doesn't
make "business sense" to join a church for that, and if someone tried
that, they would be outted pretty quickly, and then reminded of the
reason for attending a worship service.

Many of the churches here have fewer than ten cars parked outside on Sunday morning. Some have only four or five. This is a result of horse transportation days and, I humbly offer, those who have a close reading of the bible and are intolerant of other readings.

Those who use church fully: for personal, social, and business reasons, tend to belong to the larger churches of various denomination.
