Set up a pasture?? Why are you trying to fight nature?
If there is no natural pasture that you can shepherd, then don't try to
put one in!

This place was all trees once, from the looks of things. Because of its natural water flow, it supports grass. The other 35 acres of the subdivision aren't so lucky, and yes, it would be better not to have cleared them, unless the folks needed the money for something.

So I am wrong to conclude that the green, cleared hills of Kentucky make a natural pasture, and the brown ones here don't?
