What is so hard to understand about pointing fingers at Clinton doesn't excuse Bush?
Bush made his State of the Union address (January 29, 2003) fully aware that his own State Department described the claims that Iraq was seeking uranium from Africa as "highly dubious" and that on January 9, 2002, Hans Blix stated there was no "smoking gun" (WMDs).
The White House has admitted that it was wrong to include that claim in his SOU address. They knew the claims were based on forgeries. The CIA removed their part from his SOU address and the State Department removed the claims from his SOU address. HE put them back in!
The intelligence reports stated that "Iraq does not yet have a nuclear weapon or sufficient material to make one."
The INR stated that "the calims of Iraqi pursuit of natural uranium in Africa are, in INR's assessment, highly dubious."
That means he lied. He choose to disregard what the CIA, Hans Blix and his own State Department told him. On July 13, 2004, he even went so far as to say it didn't matter because even thought they didn't have any WMD, they could have made them.
Following that logic, everyone has WMD!
Lynda
The CIA voiced doubts about the intelligence from the Brits AND had cut using that info from the speech, as had the State Department. BUSH put it back in. THAT makes it a lie!

Yep, I figured that you would bring up old news. Ignored my requirements, didn't you?
!st. WMD Clinton and ALL of the dems thought there were WMD's. Maybe there were, and maybe there weren't (verdict is still out on that one)_ but don't tell me Bush lied on that one. If he did, then so did every politician in Washington (which incidentally, may be possible, but that is a totally different bucket of worms).
2nd. 4th amendment does not prevent searches on non-citizens. Period. If a foreign national is wiretapped, and he calls you... well, ohmigosh... sucks to be you. Regardless, no law is broken. Then you have all of the prosecution of war exceptions, etc, etc. Now, we can argue about changing those exceptions, if you wish, but a lawbreaker Bush ain't. At least yet.
When you want to bring up Executive Orders, lets discuss the precedent set by the beloved Bill Clinton before pointing fingers at another president. Everything in proper context, please.
So much for the humble waiting to be taught thus far.
Ray

The 4th amendment, illegal search and seizure with wiretaps on US citizens
without a search warrant.
Overuse of signing statements when he wants to ignore laws passed by congress.
Iraq WMD.
And so on.
