I'm telling you, man: Walk into a Chapel Hill house party at 12:30 a.m. and put on "Push It" and then step back or you'll be crushed by the stampede to the dancefloor.

Maybe the problem is that kids in Chapel Hill are too poor to afford to get drunk enough to dance at rockshows?

Well, "Push It" explicitly instructs the listeners
that only the sexy people should be dancing; so maybe
it's more of a deficiency of self-esteem in Chapel
Hill regarding self-perceived sexual appeal...?

Yo, yo baby pop!

VLV did a rendition of "Push It" for awhile and
people
danced. But never in Chapel Hill. Cover songs
aren't
cool in Chapel Hill -- or even allowed (e.g., The
Cave). We really need to resurrect that song-- it
was
fun! Especially for me, cuz I got to do all the
heavy breathing. :o It did make me kinda
light-headed
tho...

"Ahhh, Shhh, Push It..."

Of course, generally speaking
it's hard to get people to start dancing until the DJ plays "Push
It"; maybe bands should try that.
