===================

when I do insmod tcic.o, I get:
Using tcic.o
insmod: not an ELF file
insmod: Could not load the module: Success

My oh my, there's a classic error message for you.
Take your pick: Failure or Success.
I haven't a clue what it means. It appears you
installed both the tcic and i82365 modules. As
I say, I'm no expert here, but I think the tcic module is a replacement for i82365 (can anybody confirm this?) so installing both of them might be generating an error.
IIRC, this is the first time someone has had your
particular problem; i.e. no beeps and a terse
unsupported message (with no manfids or other
info). I could understand it if your card were
cardbus (because BL3 is incapable of dealing with
those); but with ordinary PC card PCMCIA we should
be getting more than this. That's why I'm thinking
you might be the BL3 user to require tcic, but it's really just a shot in the dark.

Are you the same guy that couldn't get the wireless
card to work? If so, there might be something
nonstandard (or malfunctional) in your hardware.

Cheers,
Steven

No, I wasn't.
So is there a way to remov the i82365 module?
Actually, should I reboot? (dumb if I didn't do it).
