The latest links2ssl (version pre20, same as the non-ssl links2 that Steven compiled) works perfectly to log into gmail.

Thanks, Steven.

(I wish I could say the same for the arrow keys on my 84-key keyboard). Sindi.

And the PgDn.

===================

For those of you that need ssl and javascript,
in the browser, try this package:
-----------------------------------------------
http://www.basiclinux.com.ru/add-ons/links2.tgz
-----------------------------------------------
Install with pkg. It runs on BL3 without
additional libraries.

I had a bad (10 minute) wget download which will not uncompress to the
3.7MB file it supposedly contains. (I will try again with links).

It worked with links. This version will NOT run in BL2 because it
requires BL3 X, and when I chrooted to BL3 and tried to run it things
froze up (mouse clicks stopped working - this is common when chrooted
using X). First time I started X I was able to load links via the xterm
and start to access gmail. I will try from straight BL3.

The arrows on my 84-key keyboard never work with jwm.

Links2 uses much less RAM than lynx

links or links2 - 0.1% (500K)
lynx 0.4% (2MB)
elinks 1.0% (5MB - not for low RAM systems)

Sindi
