I have no idea where to get one here in Oz. It's not a priority, but I
have been looking.

External - the 56 k modem that I was using for my other (main) machine,
just to prove that it was working.
But now that I have "converted" to ADSL I will need a suitable ethernet card
for the Toshiba Satellite if I ever need to get it on-line. The biggest
drawback with this machine (picked up for $10 Australian at a flea market) is
that the battery simply won't hold a charge for more than 10 minutes - it has
to be permanently plugged into the mains.

But it runs in DOS and BL quite happily otherwise.
