granted i know you wont read this (those curious as to why, i'll
forward his 'reason' to the list) but the trick to 486 laptops is
finding one with PC card slots (tho there are lpt2eithernet adapters
but good luck finding one) and onboard sound(covox speech thing?)...

they made 386, 286 and 8088 laptops too (all with LCDs/batteries.. not
all the oldies were 'luggables')

I didn't even know they _made_ 486 laptops.

What about gmail with BL, all that TLS/SSL stuff?
