Is it a free download?

Go to http://free.oszoo.org/download.html . The qemu program is GPL.
Only the accelerator is closed-source. The Win versions tend to lag
behind the Linux version: looks like the Win version is only at 0.7.2
while Linux is at 0.8.0.

I'm installing Win 98 under qemu in BL3 right now. I'll post screenshots
later. Best of both worlds for your clients who insist on having Win
installed, too?

Will this work if he starts with Windows XP and then adds qemu and then BL3 or some other linux?

We have one laptop with a larger hard drive and Win98SE, that has all the hardware working including a PDA, which I don't want to remove - can I add Windows qemu and put your 100MB BL3 on it? There is plenty of space but I am hesitant to resize partitions.

DOes qemu have any advantage over running in a DOS loop?

But we don't really need to use that laptop for linux. My partner seems to have fixed another laptop (non-Windows) by fdisking mbr. It was not creating partitions properly, or mounting them at all, and then stopped booting from hard drive. There was also a lost cluster, removed with scandisk. What is the linux equivalent of scandisk for fixing the file system? e2fsck just kept reporting errors and said the physical size and the partition size did not match. Fdisk reported error 16 when I wrote the partition table. COuld it have been a virus? How does one fdisk /mbr in linux?

I expect your qemu setup will attract a lot of new users.
