I did the above.
And insmodded the 3 modules.

Will type what I see on the "other" computer ( BL2.1) after I plugged in the
reader with SD card:

Attached scsi removable disk sda at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lin 0

sda: Write Protect is off

sda: sda1

It shows up when I say fdisk /dev/sda

And mount -t msdos /dev/sda1 /mnt works fine.
