The 2.4.31 kernel that I compiled just now works with the USB memory stick in BL2 but not in BL3.32. I will post it after removing some unnecessary things I had added back in (experimental storage stuff).

bzimagsy.431 (built-in scsi) - 758K config.sy
bzimagsm.431 (modules scsi_mod and sd_mod) - 671K config.sm
David's kernel is bzimage.431 - 746K

It is actually tested crashing (it assigned IRQ9 to this memory stick and
to some other device) so it will be a while until I fix the problem. We

I just compiled the modules for my .config and usbcore.o is a bit larger,
and I also have usb-uhci.o to try.

I can also try BL2.

David's kernel is not happy with my 720K floppy disks.
