Plain text. The files are smaller.

That would do it (linking microcom to a tty instead of a com port).

I'm pretty sure microcom won't interfer. IIRC, the only
microcom control key is ~ (no ALT/CTRL commands).

Changing TERM=linux to TERM=vt100 (or TERM=vt102) might help.

Sorry, I removed that option (because it was confusing).
I suggest you make two versions of ~/.pmailrc (one for
each person) and write a wee script that swaps them.

It's in the section with the bug (caused when I replaced
pico with e3pi). The bug stops you seeing the config file
where you set the reply-to

Yes, that's where you start reading. Then to reply, you
press r. To forward, you press f. And to compose a new
message, you press c.

Composing is just one of several options.

No. Is that a problem? Do you often click on mailto:?
If so, I can add a script to do that.

That one probably clashes with Xvesa. I know the one in
win95 clashes -- so does the one in DOS 6.22 and in 6.0.
I'm now using the himem.sys from DOS 5 (which works with
Xvesa).

I find that hard to understand. It occurs in the middle of an
ordinary script with nothing fancy going on. You are asked
three questions before the script exits and tries to start
Xvesa. You say it is crashing after the *first* question???

Cheers,
