Thanks for ftp. Where do I look for sftp? Someone gave me free webspace
on a computer that won't allow incoming ftp and does not have kermit (you
can telnet with kermit and do file transfers). Supposedly incoming sftp
will work there.

By desktop stuff I meant gnome, kde, especially if they automatically load
when you boot the computer and you need to figure out how to stop them.
Icewm is not bad (particularly since I could not even get ratpoison to
install on the next computer).

I presume 'X' means Xvesa - how much space does Xvesa, icewm, and xterm
take up all together? What applications would you have - the ones
currently included with your BL2-X packages (calculator, clock)?
