At this point, all I'm trying to do, is get
apt-get search kernel dependancies
in the terminal window, after I've logged on the net, and after I
empowered su.
it looks like apt-get can look at what is already installed, and
generate a list of what needs to be upgraded.
The corel.com call is redirected to a debian host... but the host, of
course, is not working...
But rather than figure out how to tell apt-get where to look for what it
needs, I might just as well wait until the debian servers are back up
and running, and then see if the corel 'upgrade' icon works the way its
spozed to. Cause I could screw up apt-get the way I'm going, and never
get the kernel upgraded.
That's another thing that's kinda appealing about BL; I already know how
to download a file, put it in the directory it wants, and pkunzip -d
foofile.zip Are there any dependancy problems with this?
