I searched for this file. Is it a symlink to some file that is in
cxxlibs.tgz? If so, to which file? I don't want to install the whole
package just for one file.

What exactly is superior about AbiWord? Can you access the menu without
needing to use a mouse (Alt-F for File, etc.)?

AbiWord is also much larger than Ted or flwriter or Pathetic Writer and I
don't want 95% of the features of most wordprocessors, just a way to write
plain text with underline, bold, centering. Don't even need a way to print
it. I normally use a DOS wordprocessor (WP51) but it might be handy to
translate a couple of pages while in Linux since sometimes people send me
pdf or gif files to translate from and I can switch between terminals with
linux instead of using two computers (one for the gif and one for the
translation). I do need to output something WORD can import, such as rtf.
No need for postscript or html output.

I have never found a console linux wordprocessor. There are rumors that
WP51 console is included in the for-pay Linux WP51 package but not the one
that you can download for free. The gui wordprocessors are all designed
around mice but some have better keyboard navigation than others.
Flwriter is better than Ted in this respect.
