I am providing Ted on the download site because some people
wanted it. I used myself for a month until I got AbiWord to
compile. AbiWord is far superior.

It's in the cxxlibs.tgz package. That library is required by
many common applications so most people will need it sooner or
later.

I have. Twice. Earlier this year (on BL2) and a couple of
years ago (an older version on BL1). AbiWord is far superior.
