It is supposed to go in /usr/lib - this is not the same as /lib or
/root/usr/lib or /bin.

If you are in /root/ and type
cd /usr
it is not going to take you to the same place as typing
cd usr
(unlike DOS).

cd usr will take you to /root/usr/ and cd /usr/ to /usr/
