That it is used for more than just a few cases for meanings
other than "eternity" or "forever", indicates that "eternity"
and "forever" are not its core meaning. Many times it is
used in a way whereby no distinction is made, where it
could either be a limited time or eternity, the context
makes it clear (hopefully). To translate the cases where
it clearly does not mean eternal as "eternity" is a
mistranslation.
