The question, I thought, was, can Linux address the whole drive when the
_BIOS_
-- not DOS -- doesn't know about it? Not, can Linux address a drive larger
than
32GB? I haven't experimented much with the different modes, but with a drive
larger than 32GB the computer won't let me even get to a boot manager, since
it
gets stuck on the hardware detection stage. (I'll have to try having it skip
that stage sometime.)
